InstantPrint Life Size Cut Out - A Review

As someone who has lost a lot of weight I have always wanted a life size cardboard cut out of the old me. I know it sounds random but I just love the idea of a big Jen that I can look at once in a while and give me that buzz of motivation that I definitely don't want to go back to that! Also I just thought one would be a great visual for when I am asked to do inspirational talks etc. I already take my old clothes to these and photos but a life size cut out does have a bit of a wow factor doesn't it!

A Coffee Break with... Kelly from Nature Mum Blog

This week I chatted to Kelly who writes a popular blog called Nature Mum Blog. This is a blog about families getting outdoors and enjoying nature. This appealed to me because of course the more time as a family you spend outdoors the healthier you are surely likely to be. Doing exercise as a family doesn't have to be seen as exercise and running around outdoors can be just as healthy but most importantly fun! The Nature Mum Blog also covers nature activities, science experiments, recipes and more recently a birthing series about difficult births to offer others support.

Things you didnt know about me

I am very aware that my blog is very much centred around my weight loss, my family life now and a little bit about my depression and past relationships. I thought I would do a little post about me and some random facts about me that might help you know a bit more about the woman behind the blog! Please do let me know if there is anything here that interests you and you would love me to post more about in my blog.

Fab little bag - A review

Sanitary products are not normally something you read reviews about are they, but this is something a bit different so do keep reading! The fab little bag (https://www.fablittlebag.com/) is a disposal bag for tampons, not very exciting sounding I agree but a useful product all the same and I was very intrigued so excited to be asked to review it!

Hollywood Browzer - A review

I have openly admitted to you all before I am not really that much of a girly girl in that I don't take huge pride in my looks and wear make up etc. I also must say I am not always one with the best groomed eyebrows, its just not high on my list of priorities I'm afraid! So, when I was sent to try the Hollywood Browzer http://www.hollywoodbrowzer.com to try out I was quite excited as I thought if it is as pain free as it claims then maybe I could look better without too much hassle or pain!

Kindness Week - What you can do?

This week is Kindness week across the UK and I must say I love this idea. It doesn't have to take long to do something for someone else and doesn't have to cost a penny! A few years ago I made a new years resolution of doing something for someone else every day, it lasted about 7 weeks but I had some great ideas and I loved doing things for someone else every day. This week why not take a minute or two out of a day and do something to make someone else smile. Here are some suggestions of free or low cost things you could do. It would be lovely to hear what you have done so please comment if you do something for someone this week.

A Coffee Break with... Kerry from Kerry Shaw mummy of Four

This week I chatted to Kerry who writes a blog called www.kerryshawmummyoffour.com. Kerry has 4 children including twin boys, she is a popular blogger and also a mature student. When I came across Kerry's blog I was instantly amazed at how anyone with four young children including twin boys could possibly have time for a blog let alone being a student too! Kerry's blog is an honest account of her life as a busy mum and a great read.

Wingz - Add sleeves to anything - A review

When I was asked to review the Wingz products http://www.wingzfashion.com/ I was very intrigued. I often have confidence issues with my arms which I know many of my readers do too. We all hate our "bingo wings" don't we! The idea of being able to buy sleeves that you can add to a dress seems a simple idea but I haven't really seen anything like this before so was very intrigued at an alternative to wearing a cardigan or shrug. I reviewed them with three friends who all required different sizes to me to give a good balanced view on the fit and comfort of them.

Candescent Lip Balms - A Review

I was delighted to receive some Candescent Lip Balms to review recently because in this cold weather I really hate to have sore dry lips. I am sure I am not alone in regularly buying lip balms and either running out or losing them at the bottom of a bag so I expect there will be a lot of you reading to see what these ones are like ready for, if you're anything like me, when you next need one!

Excuses wont help my jeans fit!

This morning when I checked my Facebook the first thing that came up was that it was apparently "Friends Day". Facebook had a video/slideshow for everyone with pictures of them with friends. Lovely idea but it did get me thinking. There is a day for everything isn't there nowadays. I had a bit of a search of the internet and found that tomorrow is national carrot cake day and the following day is homemade soup day, there is a day for everything, I even came across a "cook a sweet potato day"!
