Onion Gravy

Gravy is such a staple on a roast dinner isn't it but it can also be quite high in syns or calories so I set about making one I would enjoy that would not only be syn free but also packed full of vegetables too. It isn't quite like a shop bought one but I love it and so do Stuart and Ben so I thought I should share the recipe!

I Have Depression but it's OK - Ditch the Stigma!

I have talked about my depression previously with you but I feel it is a good time to chat about it a bit more and with a bit of a different take on it as such. So many people have depression whether that be post natal depression, clinical depression or any other named type of depression. They are all the same though aren't they really, depression is depression but it doesn't have to have a stigma and we don't have to see it as a bad thing.

Make My Blinds - Review

I was recently approached by Make My Blinds to review some of their made to measure blinds and it couldn't have come at a better time. A few weeks previously we had broken the kitchen blind (being a little heavy handed with it!) and had been putting off replacing it while we looked around at different options. We also fancied one for the bathroom to match the colours we have in there.

Sweet Potato Cakes

Despite the name unfortunately these are not cake! However they are very tasty and more like a hash brown in texture, spicy but not too spicy, unless like me you put too much chilli in by mistake, and great as a snack or with a huge variety of meals!

Should we ever discriminate because of weight?

As I have been both a size 30 and a size 6-8 and various points in between I have a mixture of opinions on this I thought I would share.
