This weeks coffee break chat I have chosen based on mental health as May is Mental Health Awareness Month and there has also been the introduction of Maternal Mental Health awareness week. It is a subject I feel very strongly about and feel more awareness should be raised on both mental health more generally but also on maternal mental health because how can you care for your baby or child if you are not well either mentally or physically. Gemma from Life At Floor Level talks about her experiences and Tokophobia, something you may have not heard of but it is worth reading about.
This week for my coffee break chat I am chatting to someone very different. It is not another blogger but instead is someone I think is inspirational and you will all enjoy reading about. Josh, like many people is in debt, he is only 20 and wanted to get this sorted so he can move on in his life. To tackle his debts Josh has come up with an alternative to taking out more debt or struggling and has set up a business with a difference which I think you will love.
This week I have been chatting to the lovely Ana from Funky Fitness about her exercise classes and how she feels as a fitness instructor who has struggled with her weight and suffered various health problems but has changed that with exercise, yes that’s exercise not extra fries! She has changed her life and understands the battles her clients face with their weight too which isn’t always common with fitness instructors is it! Though I should add I have another friend who is a fitness instructor and has struggles with her weight who I will chat to another week for our coffee break chatter!
