It is so easy to get bored of jacket potatoes because you get stuck on the same fillings but actually if you put a little thought into it a jacket potato is a really versatile meal and there are so many fillings you can have that are either syn free or use your healthy extra a allowance. Here are some suggestions you might not have thought of. Don’t forget to add some vegetables or salad to it though if you can for a truly Slimming World friendly meal.

VonShef Digital Air Fryer Review

Healthy eating is all about making swaps from unhealthy foods to healthier alternatives and that is where the air fryer comes in. If you had said 20 years ago people would be using air fryers I am sure you would have been laughed at but its now more and more common. When I first started Slimming World I bought a well known brand of air fryer before they were as common as they are now. I was intrigued when I was offered a VonShef digital air fryer to review how it would differ. The big names are often a lot more expensive than ones like this but I am not sure they are that much better. Time to put it to the test!

Broccoli and Stilton Soup

This is one of my favourite soups but shop bought ones are often so high in syns and full of cream etc. This tasty recipe is still creamy tasting but low syn and can be made as syn free if you just want broccoli soup. It is so easy to make this will sure become a favourite.

24 Easy Syn Free Snacks

If like me you follow Slimming World and also like your food then it is all about making tasty snacks. Of course snacks do not have to be savoury they can be sweet and still Syn free. Here I will share my top 24 snacks (was going to be 20 but I had more ideas!) with you that we have as a family that are Syn free so perfect on Slimming World so you can save those Syns for something else. Whilst fruit is Syn free (except avocado!) I wanted to suggest some other ideas!

Roasted Red Pepper and Butternut Squash Soup

This soup is really tasty whilst being so easy to make. It is quite sweet in taste and full of flavour. Soup is perfect to keep you warm in the winter but I also love it in the summer as a quick meal to reheat without being too heavy. Mediterranean Vegetable Lasagne

This Lasagne is delicious and loved by Vegetarians as well as meat eaters. It is full of flavour but easy to prepare and then leave in the oven to cook. If you don’t like any of the vegetables included it would be easy to swap them for other vegetables if preferred.
