Description
A delicious easy recipe for BBQ pulled pork that can be made in the Oven if you prefer this to the Slow cooker version and enjoyed by everyone whether dieting or not.
Ingredients
3–4lb piece of pork shoulder with all visible fat trimmed (this is easiest with kitchen scissors!)
5 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp mustard powder
500g passata
3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
3 tbsp granulated sweetener
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cracked black pepper
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 150°c.
Place the pork shoulder into a large lidded oven dish if you have one, if not a large oven dish will be fine, just cover it with foil.
Mix all other ingredients in a bowl and then pour on top of the pork and place the lid or foil on top.
Cook for 3.5 hours. If towards the end of cooking you see the sauce is quite runny and would prefer it to be thicker then remove the lid 30 minutes before serving and turn it up to 200°c.
Remove the meat from the dish and using forks pull it apart.
