A hearty cheesy leek and potato pie without pastry


  • Low Calorie Cooking Spray
  • 3 cloves Garlic (crushed)
  • 4 large Baking Potatoes peeled and cut into chunks
  • 3 large Leeks (thinly sliced)
  • 2 large Red onion (diced)
  • 280 grams Eatlean Protein Cheese (Grated)
  • 250 grams Fat free cottage cheese with chives
  • 2 Eggs
  • Black Pepper and Seasalt as needed to season.


  1. Preheat oven to 200°c
  2. Place potatoes and boiling water in a pan and bring to a boil. Cook for around 20 minutes until soft enough to mash
  3. Drain potatoes and mash then set aside.
  4. Using a large frying pan and low calorie cooking spray fry the leeks, garlic and onions until soft.
  5. Mix the leek mixture into the potatoes and set aside.
  6. Beat the eggs in a separate bowl
  7. Add the eggs, cottage cheese and grated cheese into the mashed potatoes and leek mixture and mix thoroughly. Season well and pour into a large casserole dish.
  8. Bake in the oven for 30-40 minutes or until golden on top.
