Description

These delicious chow mein noodles are a great alternative to a takeaway and really easy to make yourself at home whilst also usually being syn free on Slimming World (check yourself as this can change).


Ingredients

Scale

250g pack of dried medium egg noodles

2 cloves garlic (crushed)

2cm ginger (finely grated)

1 Pak Choi (roughly chopped)

1 stick of celery finely chopped

1 Onion (sliced)

2 Handfuls of beansprouts

1 tsp Chinese Five Spice

4 tbsp. Dark Soy Sauce

2 tbsp. Rice Vinegar


Instructions

Cook the dried egg noodles according to packet instructions.

Meanwhile using a large frying pan fry 2 cloves of garlic (crushed), 2cm ginger finely grated, 1 Pak choi (roughly chopped), one onion (sliced), 2 handfuls of beansprouts, 1 tsp Chinese five-spice, 4 tbsp. dark soy sauce, and 2 tbsp. rice vinegar.

When the vegetables are tender mix with the cooked noodles.

Serve immediately or allow to cool and microwave to reheat thoroughly.
