Description

Tasty homemade snickers bar recipe that is simple to make but can be enjoyed by the whole family.

Ingredients

Scale

Nougat Layer:

160 g rolled oats

96 g almond flour

3 tbsp melted coconut oil

2 tbsp maple syrup

1/2 tsp salt

125 ml oat milk

Caramel Layer:

3 tbsp peanut butter

12 dates

72 g melted coconut oil

85 g maple syrup

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 tsp salt

45 g peanuts

Coating:

200 g dark chocolate (I preferred 80% cocoa dark chocolate)

Instructions

For Nougat Layer:

First, add the oats into the blender and blend them until it turns into flour.

Add all the remaining ingredients and continue to blend or you can mix in a bowl if you prefer.

Place a parchment paper in a square mould and put the mixture in it and press until it becomes flat.

Before preparing the other layer, put it in the fridge and rest for an hour.

For Caramel Layer:

When preparing the caramel layer, first check the dates. If the shells are hard, soak them in hot water. (it will help the caramel layer become more smoother and creamier)

Put all the ingredients into the blender except the peanuts and blend until it becomes creamy and sticky.

With a spoon, spread the caramel layer over the nougat layer that you have kept in the refrigerator.

Spread the peanuts top of it and rest for 1 hour in the refrigerator again.

For Coating:

Melt the chocolate in a bowl over hot water or in the microwave being careful not to burn it.

Divide the layers into small, long pieces with a knife.

Coat each homemade snickers bar with chocolate and rest them to freeze and set completely.

You can keep it in the refrigerator for 10 days and in the freezer for 2 months.
