Description
A delicious easy recipe for BBQ healthy pulled pork that can be made in the slow cooker and enjoyed by everyone whether dieting or not. If you want a Slimming World pulled pork then this is an unofficial but just as tasty version.
Ingredients
3–4lb piece of pork shoulder with all visible fat trimmed (this is easiest with kitchen scissors!)
5 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp mustard powder
500g passata
3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
2 cloves garlic (crushed)
3 tbsp granulated sweetener
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cracked black pepper
Instructions
Place the pork shoulder into the slow cooker.
Mix all other ingredients in a bowl and then pour on top of the pork and place the lid on the slow cooker.
Cook on low for 8 hours. If towards the end of cooking you see the sauce is quite runny and would prefer it to be thicker then remove the lid 30 minutes before serving and turn it up to high.
Remove the meat from the slow cooker and using forks pull it apart.
