Christmas red cabbage recipe – Slimming World friendly

Description

Make 10 portions of red cabbage for Christmas dinner for 1 syn per person.


Ingredients

Scale

2 Red cabbages shredded

600g Bramley cooking apples (10 syns)

3 tbsp Granulated sweetener (1.5 syns)

1 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar

1 tbsp Dark Soy Sauce

200ml cold water


Instructions

Shred all red cabbage and remove core and place into the slow cooker.

Core and dice apples into approximately cm cubes

Mix balsamic vinegar, sweetener, soy sauce and water in a jug and pour on top of the red cabbage and apples.

Cook on high in a slow cooker for 3 hours or alternatively cook in a pan for 30-40 minutes stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
