Description
This is a great marinade for Chinese-style pork or beef, or even just to roast some veggies in.
Ingredients
1 tbsp brown sugar.
1 lime, juiced.
2–3 cloves of garlic, peeled and minced.
1 tbsp honey.
Pinch of salt and pepper.
1 tsp of smoked paprika
1 tbsp soy sauce.
Instructions
Firstly, add the brown sugar to your container, and squeeze the lime over it. Mix thoroughly to combine and dissolve the sugar. Try to use an airtight Tupperware container for this so that you can shake it to mix.
Add in the honey, salt, sugar, soy sauce, smoked paprika, and minced garlic. Mix thoroughly to dissolve and combine everything.
Keep the marinade in the fridge for up to a week. To use, brush liberally over the surface of your food, before baking, roasting, or frying. Alternatively, make a larger batch and submerge your foodstuff in the marinade to soak.
