Description
This tasty turkey mince chilli is an unofficial Slimming World recipe and perfect for those who prefer to avoid red meat.
Ingredients
Scale
100g turkey mince
1/2 white onion – thinly chopped
500g pasatta
Half a can of kidney beans, drained
1 garlic clove – crushed
1 chilli chopped
1 cube of vegetable stock
Splash of water
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon cumin
Instructions
Cook the turkey mince in a pan until brown, then drain any excess fat
Add the onion and cook until tender
Mix in all the ingredients except the water – add water according to desired thickness of sauce
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve with rice or potato wedges and add cheese if you wish!
