Living the Dream: Why I Would Love to Have a Yacht on the Mediterranean
Picture this – crystal clear waters, warm sunshine, and the gentle sway of the Mediterranean Sea. As a woman who loves adventure, luxury, and relaxation, there is nothing quite like the dream of owning a yacht on the Mediterranean. I have even had a look at Vernicos Yachts when I should have been working! From exploring hidden coves to enjoying sunset cocktails on deck, here are all the reasons why having a yacht in this stunning region would be a dream come true.

Why the Mediterranean?
Firstly, the Mediterranean is just such a stunning are in my eyes. The clear waters, gorgeous coastlines, and cute little villages create a truly breathtaking view and I can just imagine waking to that every day. With a yacht, we could discover new destinations at our own pace and create so many unforgettable memories.
In addition to its natural beauty, the Mediterranean offers so many cultural experiences I would love to try out. From fresh local foods to exploring ancient ruins, there are so many opportunities to throw yourself into all the history and tradition. Having a yacht allows you to hop from one destination to another in luxury, giving you access to some of Europe’s most iconic landmarks and attractions. Something I think would make a fantastic life or retirement if we had the money.
What would we do?
Owning LAGOON Sailing Catamarans on the Mediterranean would provide endless opportunities to relax and unwind, sunbathing on the deck with a good book some days and spa treatments in luxury marinas on other days. There are so many ways to unwind and pamper yourself while surrounded by stunning sea views it would feel like true luxury. With your own space on board, you can escape from life and relax and disconnect from all of life’s stresses in the sun.
Thinking about the different foods available
Having a yacht in this area would give so much choice for food. From traditional Greek mezze to Italian gelato, each port would offer such unique flavours and dishes I would never want to go back to the UK. Whether you choose dining in one of the towns you stop at or have a personal chef prepare gourmet meals onboard, imagine just relaxing to whatever you fancy for your dinner.
Living the life
Imagine sailing the Mediterranean and connecting with others who share your passion for adventure and luxury living. Whether you join exclusive yacht clubs or just meet people who you find on your travels it would be such an amazing way to meet new people, don’t you think?
Having a yacht on the Mediterranean is the dream and not just about luxury but also about creating lifelong memories in one of the most beautiful regions in the world. It is something I would love to do, so if I come into a significant amount of money somehow, this is a dream I would love to explore.
