I received this SodaStream Spirit in return for an honest review. All opinions are my own.
Did you have a SodaStream when they first came out? Or were you like me and always wanted one but never had one? I was so excited to be offered the new SodaStream Spirit for a review!
The SodaStream Spirit is designed not for making fizzy pop but for making sparkling water. With a push of a button, you can turn tap water into sparkling water. It comes with a reusable plastic bottle which you can use in the machine but also take out and about with you.
How easy is it to set up?
You can set up the SodaStream Spirit in a matter of a minute or two. All it requires is unboxing, attaching the gas canister and then filling the bottle with water, popping it in the machine and pressing the button.
I know it sounds a bit cliché but it is so easy a child could do it, though I wouldn’t recommend it for young children as we all know they easily break things!
Why is the SodaStream Spirit great?
If you are someone who regularly buys sparkling water this could not only save you money but also help the environment. One bottle could save up to 1282 plastic bottles. Each cylinder can make up to 60 litres of sparkling water.
If you struggle to drink enough water and prefer fizzy pop then this would be a great alternative. By making your water fizzy you could well drink more than you usually do. We all know water is great for hydration.
What did we think of the SodaStream Spirit?
It took a few attempts to get the hang of how fizzy we wanted the water. There are three options and until you try them all you just don’t know!
Ben loved the idea of fizzy water and is adamant he will now drink more water, my fingers are crossed but we will see! He made his water in the included bottle and then put a little fruit squash into a glass and then topped it up with sparkling water. He was amazed that he had made his own fizzy drink!
