Morphy Richards PrepStar – A Review
I have never owned a food processor before and to be honest, I never really understood their point until I was asked to review the Morphy Richards PrepStar. It is pretty good value and seems to do so much so I was keen to test it out.

What can the Morphy Richards PrepStar do?
To be honest, it would probably be easier to tell you what this Morphy Richards food processor can’t do! It is a machine that can do a fantastic selection of different things. It can grate, chop, mix, whip, blend and blitz pretty much anything. The bowl is a good size, and the different accessories all fit inside it, so it is easy to store in your cupboard.

How good is it in reality?
The motor on the PrepStar is 350 watts, which doesn’t mean much to me as I am rubbish with these things, but I can tell you it has a good amount of power.
There is a choice of speeds, including a pulse function, which means it can tackle almost anything! With a 4-litre bowl, there isn’t much you would ever make that wouldn’t fit in there. Let’s face it if you did need to make something huge, you would just need to make it in two batches!
It is even easy to clean, which is a huge bonus with this kind of thing!

10 amazing uses for your Morphy Richards Prepstar food processor
Making Dough
A food processor is a great tool for making dough. Whether you’re baking bread, cookies, or pizza, the food processor can quickly and easily mix all of the ingredients together into a smooth, pliable dough. The food processor also kneads the dough for you, saving you time and energy.
Chopping Vegetables
The food processor is an ideal tool for chopping vegetables quickly and evenly. You simply place your vegetables in the bowl and turn on the machine. It will chop them to whatever size you desire in just a few seconds. This is especially helpful when you’re making large batches of something like salsa or ratatouille.
Grinding Meat
If you’re looking for a way to make your own burgers or meatballs, a food processor can help with that too! Simply place your desired type of meat in the bowl and let the machine do its work. It will grind it up into small pieces that are perfect for making burgers or meatballs.
Making Pesto
Pesto is a delicious Italian sauce made from fresh basil leaves, garlic, olive oil, pine nuts, Parmesan cheese, and salt and pepper. If you have all of these ingredients on hand but don’t want to spend time chopping them up by hand, then using a food processor is the perfect solution! Simply add all of your ingredients to the bowl and let the machine do its work – it will have your pesto ready in no time!
Making Hummus
Hummus is another popular dip that can be made quickly and easily with a food processor. All you need are chickpeas (or other beans), tahini paste, olive oil, garlic cloves, lemon juice, cumin powder, salt and pepper – plus any additional seasonings that you might want to add – and let your food processor do its thing! In just minutes you’ll have delicious homemade hummus that tastes far better than store-bought varieties!
Making Smoothies
Smoothies are one of the healthiest breakfast options out there – but they can take quite some time to make if done by hand! Just add all of your desired ingredients into the bowl along with some liquid such as milk or yoghurt and blend away until smooth – it really couldn’t be easier!
Creating Sauces
Sauces such as tomato sauce or béchamel can be made quickly in a food processor as well! All you need are some canned tomatoes (or other vegetables) along with some herbs/spices/seasonings of your choice – plus any additional liquids such as cream or stock -and let your food processor do its magic! All it takes is adding chunks of cheese into the bowl along with either metal blades or grater attachment depending on what type of texture/consistency you desire -and letting it go until everything has been grated perfectly without having to put in any extra effort yourself whatsoever!
Shredding Potatoes
If potatoes are one of those ingredients that often appear in dishes at home then why not save yourself some time prepping them by using a food processor?
