Revive Collagen Vegan Review: What I Thought After Trying It
Collagen supplements seem to be everywhere at the moment, but there is one fairly obvious problem with most of them if you are vegetarian or vegan – collagen itself usually comes from animal sources.
As a vegetarian, this is something I have noticed whenever I’ve looked at collagen products. Fish and bovine collagen are particularly common, so when I was given the opportunity to try Revive Collagen Vegan, I was interested to see what was different about it and, more importantly, what I actually thought of it after taking it.
This is a collaborative post, but as always, the opinions and experiences I share are my own.

What is Revive Collagen Vegan?
Despite the name, vegan collagen products don’t generally contain collagen in the same way that traditional fish or bovine collagen supplements do.
Revive Vegan Collagen is a plant-based liquid supplement designed to provide nutrients and ingredients intended to support the body’s own collagen production.
For me, this makes much more sense than trying to find a traditional collagen supplement that fits with being vegetarian.
It comes in individual liquid sachets, with one sachet taken each day. You can drink it directly from the sachet or mix it with water.
What does Revive Collagen Vegan taste like?
This is always one of my first questions with supplements because there is absolutely no point in me telling you how wonderful the ingredients are if it tastes vile and you dread taking it every morning!
I was pleasantly surprised by this one. I found the flavour quite mild and easy to drink and didn’t have any problems taking it directly from the sachet.
I also like the individual sachets because there is nothing to measure and no tablets to remember. I took some away with me on holiday, and being able to throw the sachets into my luggage made that particularly easy.
Of course, there is another side to that convenience because individual sachets mean more packaging than having one bottle or tub, which might be something you want to consider.
Did Revive Collagen Vegan make a difference to my skin?
This is probably the bit you’ve come here wanting to know, and I don’t want to pretend I’ve seen dramatic changes that I haven’t.
Revive makes claims around wrinkles, skin elasticity and skin health, but judging these things on my own skin isn’t particularly straightforward.
I had been away on holiday while trying it and holidays always seem to play havoc with my skin. Add hormonal skin changes into the mix and there were simply too many variables for me to confidently look in the mirror and say that a particular change was caused by this supplement.
I certainly didn’t notice anything negative from taking it, but equally I’m not going to tell you my wrinkles magically disappeared!
For something like this, I think you have to be realistic about what you’re expecting. Skin changes naturally with age, hormones, sun exposure, hydration, skincare and all sorts of other things, so personally I would be wary of judging any supplement purely on a dramatic before-and-after photograph.

Why choose a vegan collagen supplement?
If you eat meat and fish, you have considerably more choice when shopping for collagen supplements. If you’re vegetarian or vegan, the options become much more limited.
Traditional collagen is animal-derived, which is why a vegan product takes a different approach.
Instead of supplying animal collagen, Revive Collagen Vegan contains plant-based ingredients and nutrients intended to support normal collagen formation within the body.
That distinction is worth understanding before buying it because you’re not simply getting a vegan version of fish collagen.
Is Revive Collagen Vegan suitable for allergies and intolerances?
Another thing that caught my attention was the number of ingredients the product doesn’t contain.
According to Revive, the vegan formula is free from dairy, lactose, gluten, soya, added sugar and artificial colours and flavours. It is also described by the brand as cruelty-free, non-GMO and Halal suitable.
Obviously, if you have a serious allergy or intolerance, I would always recommend checking the current ingredients and allergen information on the packaging or manufacturer’s website yourself rather than relying on any review – formulations can change.
Is it easy to take every day?
Very.
You take one sachet a day and that’s essentially it. I drank mine directly from the sachet, although you can mix it with water if you’d rather.
I think this format will divide people a little. If you hate swallowing tablets, you’ll probably love it. If you already take several supplements every morning and would rather swallow another tablet than drink something, you might prefer a different format.
Personally, I found it easy enough to fit into my day.
Are there any downsides?
Price is probably the biggest consideration for me.
This isn’t the sort of supplement I would buy without thinking about the cost, especially because it is something you’re expected to take consistently rather than buying once.
That’s also why I think it’s important to have realistic expectations. I wouldn’t stretch my budget for any beauty supplement because I had been persuaded that it was suddenly going to remove my wrinkles.
There is also the packaging to consider. The individual sachets are brilliant for convenience and travelling, but inevitably create more waste than some alternative supplement formats.
Finally, you need to remember what you’re buying. This isn’t animal collagen made vegan somehow; it’s a vegan formulation intended to support your body’s own collagen production.
Would I recommend Revive Collagen Vegan?
I think it is an interesting option if you’ve already decided that you want to try a collagen-related supplement but don’t want to take something containing fish or bovine collagen.
I liked the taste, found the sachets really convenient and had no problems fitting one into my day. Those are all definite positives for me.
Where I’m less certain is the thing that’s much harder to measure – whether it visibly changed my skin.
I haven’t experienced a miraculous disappearance of wrinkles, and I wouldn’t expect to. My skin also changes quite a lot depending on hormones, holidays, weather and what else is going on, so I can’t honestly attribute any changes I’ve noticed specifically to Revive.
For me, that’s a much fairer way of reviewing supplements like this.
If you’re interested in trying Revive Collagen Vegan, I’d suggest looking at the ingredients, current price and manufacturer’s claims and deciding whether those stack up for you personally rather than buying it because someone online promises it’ll transform your skin.
I enjoyed trying it and would happily take it again, but I’d consider it an addition to my normal skincare and diet rather than expecting it to perform miracles.
