    I have a couple to buy for. I usually go with tubs of chocolates or if I’m spending a little more make up a small hamper with chocolates, sweets, bottle of wine for the adults, etc.

    This will be the first year in 21 years I will not be buying for my daughter’s family. Her youngest has just celebrated her 18th so only Premium Bonds from now on. In the past however a good board game and a tin of chocs was always on my list for them. Something for them to play and share together.

    I love to buy the kiddos in our family books as it’s something they will keep going back to after Christmas Day

  36. I think a good gift for the whole family is something they can use together like a board or card game. But if your budget is tight, a selection box of biscuits or chocolates is also likely to go down well.

    It’s hard to please everyone. As my children are a bit older they appreciate a hamper at Christmas. My eldest especially likes truckles of cheese.

  54. Yes, I’m buying for a family this year and I think a hamper makes the perfect gift. It’s packed with treats everyone can enjoy together, and it feels thoughtful without needing lots of separate presents
