The best gifts for men this Christmas
Do you find men hard to buy for? I certainly do, and when I recently asked my Facebook followers, many also agreed, so I hope this guide of gifts for men will help you find something nice for your dad, partner, brother, son or another man in your life this year.
Just wanted to give you a heads-up that this guide includes items I’ve been paid to feature, PR samples, and affiliate links that earn me a small commission. All opinions are my own, and I wouldn’t include anything I don’t think would make an lovely gift for someone. Jen x
For a man who likes sport and fitness

Are you buying for a tennis-playing man? These tennis shoes are a great buy and just one example of the specialist shoes available from Tennis HQ. These Babolat shoes have an RRP of £100 but are currently £61.95.

For a man who loves to play Badminton, how about some specific badminton gear? This Dunlop badminton bag is perfect for him to carry all he needs to the court and if he is looking for a new racket or a set to play it with his family there is a huge variety on the Badminton HQ website.

Or would this be a new hobby he might enjoy?

A great hiking gift for a man who loves to walk would be some walking boots. These boots from Helly Hansen are well-designed and comfortable for him whilst also being stylish. For £200, these Men’s Montragon HellyTech waterproof hiking boots will last him well and protect his feet whether hiking up mountains or walking the dog in the woods!
For a man who likes a drink

This Copacetic Vodka from the King of Soho is a unique and stylish bottle which would make a great gift. The purple bottle makes it look great in any home bar and is a quality vodka I am sure he would love. It is available from Master of Malt and Amazon. The RRP is £34.50 a bottle, but keep a check as I have seen it a little cheaper on Amazon.

The King of Soho also has some lovely gins, London Dry Gin and Variorum Gin, they have RRPs of £34.95 and £33.95, respectively but at the time of writing, the pink gin (in the red bottle) is on offer on Amazon. They are both definitely premium gins that would make a lovely gift as well as look nice – definitely a great gift for a gin lover.
Something personalised

I always think photo books make lovely personalised gifts. This one is Ben’s favourite football photos from over many years. You can make them with as many photos as you like in any layout to remind him of a favourite holiday, his younger years, or perhaps a hobby he has. This photo book is from VistaPrint and was around £30, but it does have a lot of pages!

Putting a favourite photo onto a desk photo slate would be a great gift. I made this one for Stuart of me and Ben! From Asda Photo they are from £11-14 depending on the size and shape you choose so a great gift idea.

Another great personalised option is a cushion, who wouldn’t love a cushion with their favourite photo on? These cushions from Asda Photo are available in a variety of sizes and from £14-£26.50 depending on the size you choose.
A gadget gift

The iWalk PowerSquid is the latest must-have charger which combines a power bank and cables in one useful gadget. If he is always on the go or forever forgetting a charger or cable for it then this might be a great gift idea for him! The PowerSquid has an RRP of £34.99 but again seems to regularly have discounts and offers on Amazon so you could get it significantly cheaper!

For a man who loves to multitask these Shokz Openfit earphones are a perfect gift. They are bone-conducting so they don’t actually go into the ear but instead sit comfortably over the ear and outside on the fleshy part. Shokz are amazing, and since I got mine I wouldn’t use any others as they are just so clever! They are currently £152 from Shokz and give you great sound as well as the ability to still hear everything around you. An absolute game-changer in my experience!

If you are buying for a keen console gamer then he will love the Exogrip. It is basically a way of moulding the handles of his current controller to fit his hands perfectly and make gaming for hours much more comfortable. Exogrip is £19.99 and a buy he will definitely find useful if he loves gaming as much as my son Ben!

The CurveFlex is a great gift for a man with a home office or perhaps has a hobby which uses a laptop a lot. It is designed for the MacBook but also works with other similar size smaller laptops such as the Elitebook. A useful stand to help make it much more ergonomically angled for use. With an RRP of £79.99 it is a lovely gift he will use for years! Available from Amazon.

Does he listen to a lot of music or audiobooks but still have wired or cheap earphones? The Edifier TWS1 Pro 2 earbuds are great, they have good noise cancelling, are fast charging and have all the latest technology to help him listen to whatever he enjoys clearly, whatever he is doing. They have an RRP of £69.99 but have frequent offers and vouchers on Amazon whenever I look so check their latest price.

For a man who likes fitness and has an Apple Watch, how about an ActionSleeve? It is perfect for him to use as an alternative to the usual watch strap. This strap is designed so that users can keep using their Apple Watch even when sportswear, equipment or activity restricts wrist placement or causes discomfort.
The band is placed on the upper arm and improves heart rate tracking because it gives you tighter skin contact than a normal watch strap. ActionSleeves’ built-in bumper will protect an Apple Watch from possible damage. Different-sized sleeves depend on which Apple Watch you own, but they all fit arms up to 15in (38cm) and are hand-washable. Check it out on Amazon for £34.99 at the moment

For a book lover, the Twelve South BookBook iPhone case is a lovely gift idea. A unique case that is MagSafe, has card holders and is a strong iPhone case all in one would be a lovely gift. Check out the price and availability depending on her model of iPhone on Amazon.
A Calendar

Are you buying a gift for a football fan, this Liverpool Football Club gift set is a perfect gift in a musical box which plays “You’ll never walk alone,” he will find a calendar, a diary and a pen. I think this would be a great gift and it is just £19.49 from Danilo or £24.99 from Amazon!
A gift for a stylish man

The Helly Hansen Weekender bag is a great gift for a man who travels a lot and wants to travel in style. It is currently £35, usually £50 and is well made and a lovely gift on its own or perhaps with travel tickets for a weekend away if you have a higher budget!

A new aftershave always makes a nice gift for a stylish man and this aftershave bottle looks good as well as smells good! Bad Boy by Carolina Herrera is available in three sizes from £58.99. It has top notes of bergamot, black Pepper and white Pepper, middle notes of cedar and sage and base notes of tonka bean, amberwood and cacao.

A washbag makes a great gift and this one is no exception. It looks good and is a good price at £25. The washbag is available in four different colours but my favourite is black as it just looks sleek in my opinion! Check out the Helly Hansen washbag to see if it would be a gift for a man in your life.

A backpack makes a lovely gift for him too, would he use it for work, the gym or a night away? For £40 this stylish Helly Hansen backpack makes a lovely gift in my opinion.

A Multigroomer is a great gift for a man with facial hair or who loves to look great all the time. This one from WAHL is a great choice as it is a well thought of brand and at £89.99 it is good value with a 5-year warranty. If the WAHL Stainless Steel 9 in 1 multigroomer isn’t exactly right for your recipient why not check the rest of their range as there is something for everyone?
Something different

If you are buying for a man who is super difficult and literally seems to have everything and these ideas haven’t helped then how about an experience? This Triple supercar driving experience with a high-speed passenger ride would make an amazing gift for a car mad man or someone who would enjoy a gift with a difference. It is usually £177 but currently on offer for £109.99 from BuyAGift.
Top tip 1: Check the height, weight and driving license requirements for this experience.
Top Tip 2: If he isn’t keen on this experience he can easily exchange the voucher for something he prefers so don’t worry too much!
