Honest Webb WEPW2200 Review: Cleaning Patios and Decking
This review includes the Webb Pressure Washer I was sent to try out in return for sharing our experiences with you. All experiences are my own, and I was so impressed that I even asked the company for a pressure washer discount code for you (find it at the end of the article)!
Spring is the perfect time to look out at your garden and dream of sunny afternoons. But then you spot the green patio and the dirt on your lovely decking. Suddenly, that relaxing vision turns into a list of outdoor jobs. Cleaning the garden surfaces is a messy job, but finding the right tool makes it much easier.
I recently decided to tackle the grime in our garden, ready for summer, so we can invite friends for BBQs. Our patio was looking a bit sorry for itself, and the composite decking near our garden room needed a good wash too. When Webb asked me if I would like to test out the Webb WEPW2200 165 Bar Pressure Washer to see if it could handle the task, I was excited, as I love pressure washing.
In this blog post, I will share my honest experience using this Webb pressure washer. I will share how easy it is to set up, how well it cleans different surfaces, and whether it is safe to use on composite decking. Whilst pressure washing can be hard work, it is also so rewarding. I love that before and after difference of a good clean!

Unboxing the Webb WEPW2200 Pressure Washer
When the box arrived, I was eager to see what was inside. The Webb WEPW2200 is a sturdy piece of kit. It features a 2200W motor and delivers a maximum pressure of 165 Bar. For a home garden tool, that is a lot of cleaning strength.

Putting the Webb pressure washer together was quite simple. The instructions were clear, and the parts clicked into place without much fuss. It comes with a 6 metre high-pressure hose, which is a decent length. You do not have to constantly move the main unit around every two minutes.
This Webb pressure washer bundle also includes several useful attachments. There is a fan jet nozzle, a turbo nozzle, a wash brush, a foam sprayer, and a dedicated patio cleaner. Having all these extras in one box means you do not have to buy separate parts later.

Preparing the Patio for a Good Wash
Before you start blasting water everywhere, you need to prepare the area. I moved all the plant pots, the garden furniture, and the barbecue out of the way. Clearing the space and giving it a quick sweep with a stiff brush is the best way to start. It stops small stones from flying around and causing damage.
Once the patio was clear, I attached the patio cleaner head to the Webb pressure washer. This attachment looks like a plastic dome with spinning nozzles underneath. It is designed to clean flat surfaces without splashing dirty water all over your clean windows.

Testing the Webb Pressure Washer on the Patio
I turned on the tap, plugged in the machine, and pulled the trigger. The motor kicked in with a satisfying hum. The patio cleaner attachment glided over the paving slabs smoothly. Unfortunately, our patio was a bit too dirty for that to work well, so I used a different nozzle instead!

I was genuinely surprised by how quickly the dirt vanished. It has been 2 years since it was last cleaned, I think, maybe even 3! Years of algae, moss, and general grime disappeared in seconds. The 165 Bar pressure was more than enough to lift the stubborn marks that a normal hose pipe could never shift.
Because it has an 8.2 litres per minute flow rate, the water washes the dirt away quickly as you work. I did not have to go over the same spot twice. It made the whole job much faster than I expected. If you are trying to create a low maintenance garden, having a tool that speeds up cleaning is a massive bonus.
Cleaning Composite Decking Safely
My next challenge was the composite decking. We love spending time in our garden room and hot tub area, but the decking boards easily collect grime and bird mess.

Cleaning composite decking requires a bit of care. If you use too much pressure, you can actually damage the surface of the boards. Since the Webb WEPW2200 maxes out at 165 Bar, it is perfectly safe for composite decking if used correctly. I kept the nozzle about 20 centimetres away from the decking boards and sprayed in the direction of the grain.
The results were brilliant. The water lifted the dirt gently, leaving the decking looking brand new. I did not see any scratches or damage to the composite material at all.

Pros and Cons of the Webb Pressure Washer WEPW2200
Every product has its good and bad points. Here is a quick summary of my thoughts after using this Webb pressure washer for a few weekends to get all the patio and decking clean.
What I really liked
The cleaning power is fantastic. The 2200W motor does exactly what it promises, clearing away thick moss and dirt effortlessly.
The variety of attachments is also a huge plus. You can swap from cleaning a stone patio to washing your car or decking in just a few clicks.
The 6 metre hose reel on top of the machine makes storage very tidy. You just wind it up when you are finished.
What could be improved?
There were points in the instructions that were a little unclear when putting the machine together, but once you worked it out, it was fine.
The machine, unfortunately, does not come with a particularly long electric cable, so I had to move it a couple of times to get to all the areas I needed. This could be easily resolved with a suitable waterproof extension lead.
Before and After Comparison
I am not really sure how to put iinto words how well the Webb Pressure Washer cleaned our patio so hopefully this comparison will help.

Frequently Asked Questions of this Webb Pressure Washer
Is the Webb Pressure Washer (WEPW2200) easy to store?
Yes, it is designed with storage in mind. The hose winds neatly onto the integrated reel, and there are slots on the back of the machine to hold the nozzles and lances. It fits nicely into a standard garden shed. Ours is currently in the garage, however, as sorting the sheds is a job for another weekend!
Do I need to use detergent to clean my patio?
For general dirt, the high-pressure water is usually enough. However, if you have stubborn black spots or grease near your barbecue, using the included foam sprayer with a suitable patio detergent will give you much better results. I did all of mine with just water.
Can I use this pressure washer on my car?
Absolutely. The fan jet nozzle and the wash brush are perfect for cleaning vehicles. Just make sure you do not use the turbo nozzle on your car paintwork, as it is too powerful and might cause damage.
How loud is the pressure washer?
It sounds like a standard electric lawnmower. It is not overly loud, but you will definitely know it is switched on. It only makes a noise when you are actually pulling the trigger.
