#ad Shopping for teenagers – 5 perfect buys from adidas
This is a collaborative post.
Shopping for teenagers for clothes can be a nightmare, can’t it? Here I wanted to share with you my ten top buys from adidas that Ben loves, and I am sure other teenage boys will love too!
Ben, at 17, is still a teenager and loves clothes, but quite frankly, designer clothes are beyond our budget, and I don’t believe he needs them on the whole. I much prefer buying him good quality clothes from adidas that last well and then a few designer bits for special occasions.

Why choose adidas over Shein or Temu?
If you have been online in the last year, you will have seen there are so many adverts and links to Shein and Temu with people sharing their bargain clothing and housewares.
Whilst they all look great, I greatly advocate shopping where you know and with brands you know have good quality products.
In my opinion, brands like this have a difficult returns system and low-priced products because the quality is less predictable, and you are less likely to find the same product again a month later on their site.
With adidas on the other hand, you can look easily at reviews of each product and return items easily, and they are a well-known brand I know and trust. I don’t just say this as a regular blogger for adidas but as a mum who likes to buy clothes that are good quality and last!
Ben’s 5 favourites from adidas this summer
Trainers
Ben loves trainers and footwear; he has a few favourites at the moment but particularly his bright orange trainers. He is a bit like me and loves bright colours!
Ben loves the Ultraboost range, and his orange ones are called Galaxy 5 shoes if you fancy a look.
Whatever footwear you like, there is something for everyone with men’s trainers from £22.50 at the moment in the sale.
Football shirts
I have shared previously that Ben is an avid football shirt collector; he loves football shirts that are easy to get online and saves all his money for the latest ones from various of his favourite teams.
The teams with adidas shirts are Arsenal, FC Bayern, Real Madrid, Ajax Amsterdam, Juventus, Manchester united and more. Ben doesn’t have a Ajax shirt yet to my knowledge so I think this will be one of the next ones he chooses!
Tracksuits
Ben lives in tracksuits, and you know what, as a mum, I have no issue with that; they are easy to wash and dry, last for ages and go with pretty much anything!
Ben still wears tracksuits from adidas he had two years ago, and whilst they have a few pulls, they are decent enough still!
Men’s tracksuits are available in basic ranges and more stylish, unique sets. The basic ones are around £70 for the set of bottoms and a jacket, so a great buy for teens without breaking the bank.
Walking shoes
Ben has some problems with his leg muscles and ankles that require another log of surgery this summer. As a result, he needs supportive footwear if he is walking far, so he loves the walking shoes from adidas for this.
Ben recently went on his Duke of Edinburgh expedition, and for walks like that, he needs something sturdy and supportive rather than the trainers he wears around college the rest of the time.
Bags
Ben has severe allergies and must carry EpiPens wherever he goes, so he always needs a bag. Whether your teenager has similar issues or needs a new school bag, the ones at adidas are great value and various sizes.
Ben has a small one for his wallet, phone and Epipens for weekends and a larger backpack for college. If you are in the market for a stylish but bargain bag because your teen wrecks theirs (all too common when they toss them aside to play football!) then check out the adidas range!
