As I am not a gamer, I asked Ben to try the headset for a few weeks and share his thoughts below. He is a keen gamer who spends hours and hours on various games, from Fifa to Call of Duty, so hopefully, his opinions will help you.
How do they compare to the PlayStation 5 Headset?
I have found the quality to be nearly identical to the PlayStation 5 branded headset, Pulse 3D Wireless headset. Like Playstation 5 headsets, they have buttons on the headphones to mute the microphone and change the headset volume, which is handy when gaming.
They both have great sound, immersing me in the game and creating a fantastic gaming experience. They work well with the sound, and the detachable microphone is easy to plug in and unplug when you want to use it. It comes with a pop filter on the mic so you can speak and hear clearly, so it’s easy to talk to my friends.
How Easy are they to set up?
They are quite easy to set up, and I set them up and got the sound working in less than 5 minutes. I like that you can use them on so many different devices, including computers, phones and consoles, making them multi-use and compatible on many platforms.
