Treating yourself to a Vendula London purse and a giveaway!

Most of the time, we are so busy looking after others or buying gifts for others that when it comes to buying gifts for ourselves, we often forget to treat ourselves, and even when we do, we feel guilty about buying something nice for ourselves. I want to tell you that if this is you, you need to stop feeling guilty and treat yourself from time to time.

It’s nice to buy a gift for yourself; in fact, I would even go as far as saying that gifting yourself a treat now and then isn’t just an act of indulgence; it’s crucial for your self-care and mental wellness.

Whether it’s a small token of appreciation for your hard work, a celebration of an achievement, or simply a way to lift your spirits on a dreary day, treating yourself can boost your mood, increase your self-esteem, and even improve your productivity.

What gifts might you buy yourself?

So what gifts are good for treating yourself? Well, the honest answer is anything you like. It doesn’t have to be expensive or luxurious, so long as it’s something you are buying just for yourself.

You might decide to buy yourself a takeaway, a bottle of your favourite wine, your favourite perfume, that book you’ve been wanting to read, your favourite sweets or chocolates, a pair of shoes, a piece of clothing or even a whole outfit.

You might even decide to splash out on a new handbag or purse that you’ve had your eye on for a while but haven’t wanted to because you feel bad buying something that is just for you for no other reason than as a treat to yourself.

Would you like to win a new purse?

I was recently gifted a “The Old Sweet Shop Zipper Coin Purse” from Vendula London. I absolutely love it and I have one to give away to one of my readers too.

This cute purse measures 10cm (H) x 15cm (W) x 1cm (D). It is made from printed and embossed vegan leather with hand-stitched details. It has one main compartment with zip closure, has 3 card slots and an attachment keychain. It will fit in most of Vendula London’s Old Sweet Shop bags if you want matching items.

Sherbet Lemons (although they are not as good as they used to be when you could suck loads of sherbet out of them) or anything with sherbet in. I’m 76 and a lifelong sherbaholic. My children always buy me sherbet fountains and flying saucers as presents!

Oh that is a hard question as I love most gelatin sweets. Sadly a lot of the sweets I like are the modern variation but nothing beats a good cola bottle (not Haribo) or a good strawberry cream liquorice. The last time I ate it was when my kids was in soft play and i finished a whole pack of cola bottles during the 2 hours we were there.
