Top ideas to keep you on track with 7 common New Year Resolutions
Do you have a New Year Resolution that is going well so far? Are you looking for new ways to build this into your lifestyle. Here are products and services I have found I think you will love to help with a whole variety of resolutions! Remember the key is to stay positive!

Be more Eco-friendly
If you are aiming to be more eco-friendly this year and looking for some inspiration for new things to try then have you considered buying things for your home that are more eco-friendly too.
Grow your own food
This is a new year resolution I am always tempted by but never motivate myself to do. It is probably not helped by not having a big garden and now having an artificial lawn. Equally, I am the sort of person that can kill a cactus! I guess too I always thought you needed lots of space to grow your own food.
Going vegan
Being vegan isn’t just about eating tasty vegan food, is it? There are other things a vegan usually avoids such as animal products in vitamins and other supplements, beauty products with oils etc derived from animals, and similar. Why not take a look even if this isn’t your new year resolution and see if you could make one little change for the environment.
Being more confident
Every year I aim to be more confident but this year I have decided that on the whole I am who I am and there are some areas of my confidence I know I can improve and others I know I can’t!
Drinking less alcohol
Alcohol can make you gain weight, feel rubbish and generally alcohol isn’t healthy so giving up or cutting down alcohol is one of the most common new year resolutions, along with weight loss! Drinking in moderation is something so many people are trying to do right now.
Be more organised
Honestly, this is my new year resolution every blooming year. I buy a diary and by February (if not before!) I am no longer using it! If you are now thinking “right, I need a planner, I need to get organised” then I can highly recommend Yop and Tom. They stock some truly lovely planners that make you want to use them. Of course, you still have to be organised enough to use them but it is a start!
If you would like to start journaling they have some lovely journals too so perfect if you want to keep a record of the madness that is lockdown or perhaps even keep a positivity journal to look back on when you are feeling down?
Lose weight
If you have been doing well the last few weeks with weight loss but worry you will lose motivation then maybe you need to buy some things to help you. Alternatively you could download my free trackers to keep you on track day to day. Have a look at them here and see what you think.
Redecorate
If you are planning on redecorating then be sure to check out all the latest trends but also consider what colours and designs you could live with for some time as you don’t want to be changing your mind and redecorating again in 6 months!
Do you have an individual new year resolution or a family one? I love the idea of a family new year resolution, for example, to spend more time playing board games together. As adults we often try to save money on household bills but perhaps involving the children in that would be good too? The teens could earn money too?
