Midweek Catch up 25/6/25
Hello again, here we are. This week has been a strange one for me. I have a variety of things to talk about this week. So let me share with you a few things I have thought about this week, what has happened etc.

Weight Loss, Exercise and Mental Health Catch-up
So, this week I have again weighed, I weigh every Tuesday, but I don’t know my weight. I talked about why I do that previously and my food and weight loss issues, so do have a read if you haven’t already. I do know, however, that I have lost again this week, so that is good.
My mental health is still a bit rubbish if I am honest, so now, 4 weeks into my higher dose of antidepressants, I am not sure whether to go back to the GP or leave it a little longer.
I have been exercising a lot more and really enjoying listening to my true crime whilst walking! I share my achievements most days on social media, so do check and give me some encouragement if you can!
On the meal plan this week has been paella, jacket potatoes, salads and pasta bolognese, so we have been healthy all week again!
Books
I am still reading the book Ben gave me for Mother’s Day that I mentioned a few weeks ago, as I have less time in the evenings to read now due to going on walks!
I have started reading Lovely Bones, which I am really enjoying. Have you read it or watched the film? Let me know what you thought in the comments.
I am also still listening to the Lucy Letby book I mentioned last week, as I forgot about it and was absorbed in my True Crime podcasts! I still have the same feelings I mentioned a week ago, and am curious as to what happened.
Family and Life
This week I went to the theatre with Ben and my mum and stepdad dad and then we were joined by Stuart for a meal out. We had a bit of a cheeky treat meal, but got straight back on the healthy eating afterwards. At the theatre we saw a play of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time. Have you read it? I love it!
As you may already know, Stuart and I are engaged. Well, this week we decided on a date and are excited about that. So now my weight loss has a goal, a gorgeous wedding dress. I have an idea of what I would like but I don’t want to start properly shopping for dresses until next spring/summer (getting married in 2027) so I can see how my weight is and my shape then!
