This is an unusual meal but quite popular in the US. It is a bit of a different take on a chilli as it is pasta based rather than rice and is really easy to make. As it is made in the Instant Pot it is a quick recipe too!

Which pasta works well with this recipe?

If you are cooking pasta in a recipe like this then I would recommend penne or rigatoni pasta. Both are sturdy enough to hold up to the pressure cooking well but also be great for holding the sauce.

If you use a smaller pasta variety it will still work but something like macaroni will cook a little more and may even go slightly mushy.

Adaptions to this recipe

It is easy to add other vegetables if you like to this recipe and peppers work really well.

If you like a spicy chilli why not slice up some fresh red chillies to add to the recipe?

If you don’t have an instant pot why not try this turkey spaghetti?

What if I have another pressure cooker?

If you have a different pressure cooker such as a stovetop one or a Ninja Foodi this can be just as easily made in one of those. You may need to adjust the settings slightly to the options you have but this should be straightforward. Essentially the recipe is simple and the only thing that may change are the setting names!

How to serve the turkey chilli pasta

This pasta can be served and eaten directly from the pot. Alternatively, why not add a little cheese to melt on the top or even put a handful of cheese on and then grill it until the cheese melts? The choice is yours.
