Midweek Catch-Up 18-03/26
Hello again, I hope you are all well. Here we are again with my midweek catch-up. Apologies, I missed last week’s again, but the benefit of that is you get a double update this week. I have a lot to say so grab a cuppa and settle down for a long read.

Health Catch-Up
I don’t really have much to update here, but I have been referred to a weight loss support program called Oviva and had my first call with them yesterday, so I am hoping to share more about that with you soon. They can offer Wegovy injections, but I am not sure about that yet; I am currently just looking at food- and exercise-related changes.
I have appointments coming up with respiratory and gynaecology in a few weeks, so I am hoping those start to move towards a diagnosis for each of my long-term problems. It is so frustrating when it feels like you spend years trying to get recognition and support for long-term conditions, isn’t it?
Family and Life
Ben and I attend a local photography group, which we have been enjoying. Last Wednesday (which is why I missed the midweek catch-up!), we went to take photos in Newark, which is so beautiful, but also the location where we are getting married next year, so I enjoyed that. I also had a few little trips into independent bookshops, which were lovely. In Newark Bookshop, I bought The Librarian of Auschwitz, which looks like a good read.
Books
I haven’t read as much as normal over the last few weeks as I have just not been as engrossed in anything. I have, however, almost finished Drowning in Paper Flowers, which is really good so far.
