Sausage Pasta Bake Recipe Slimming World friendly
I love pasta as I am sure you already know. I talk about it enough! With my newly found favourite brand, I decided to create you a new recipe. We often have sausages in the freezer and I rarely use them with pasta so set about creating a yummy spicy sausage pasta bake recipe.

This spicy sausage pasta bake recipe is sponsored by Garofalo Pasta who have compensated me for my time. The recipe is all my own.

Choosing good pasta
The Garofalo pasta is made in a different way to regular pasta. It is made using high protein wheat and then formed through a bronze die to give the pasta a rough surface.
This sounds rather unnecessary but actually, it gives the sauce more area to stick to so adds more flavour to the pasta. I didn’t believe it would taste any different until I tried it and was pleasantly surprised. Have you tried it yet?

How I designed the spicy sausage pasta bake recipe
I like spicy foods, but not too spicy, I like sausages and I love pasta. Rarely do I see recipes that combine the three, however.
This spicy sausage pasta bake recipe was amazing and I must say I surprised myself with how good it is. I have made it with Quorn sausages for myself as I am a vegetarian and meat sausages for Stuart. Both appeared to work well. Check this post for all the best sausages and both meat and vegetarian to keep you on plan!
The recipe can be made vegan by using suitable sausages and using vegan alternative cheese. The cheese in my eyes really makes the dish perfect so make sure you go for one that melts nicely! Some pasta contains eggs so of course check that out too.

Healthy Lunches
If you are eating healthily you may have difficulty in finding lunches for work. This is just one of many amazing Slimming World lunch ideas I have found as it reheats so easily so do check out my other recipes for more ideas.
If you take lunch then you are so much less likely to buy food which inevitably will be less healthy. Taking a variety of food throughout the week to work keeps your lunchtimes interesting and stops you from getting bored.
Even if, like me, you work alone at home it can make such a difference having your food already prepared for you. Why not give it a go and make sure you build a variety of lunches into your weekly meal plan.

Why Garofalo pasta for the spicy sausage pasta bake?
In a recent post, I asked about your favourite pasta shapes and types of sauces. Tomato-based sauces were popular as were a variety of different shapes.
Many of you are also pasta lovers so I am sharing this pasta shape with you as I love it. It is Mafalda Corta and not something I have seen before.
Not only does it look nice but it tastes extremely good too. The pasta sauce attaches itself well to the pasta giving an all-round great flavour.
In this recipe you could use another pasta shape, this is just my preference. It could actually be made as a lasagne too. I might give that a try someday.
You can buy Garofalo pasta on Amazon and Ocado. Do let me know if you make this spicy sausage pasta bake with this pasta and how you find it. Do you have a favourite pasta brand?
