Are you looking for Slimming World cinema snacks, low-calorie snacks for cinema trips or just healthy cinema snacks as an alternative to those offered at the cinema? Whatever it is you need for the cinema for a healthier choice these should help.

Takeaway or Fakeaway meals and healthy snacks I have ideas aplenty here. While we are watching films or sports we often fancy a snack or two but those snacks don’t have to ruin your weight loss. Instead of buying movie snacks at the cinema, these ideas should also help.

Here are some great ideas to help you enjoy a few hours in front of the TV eating and not gain weight in the process. Why not enjoy one of my recipes for tea first to fill you up?

Super healthy cinema snacks for home movies

Homemade chips – I make them in my Actifry and they are lovely but better for home cinema nights than taking to the cinema!

Salsa – If you are going to have some low-fat crisps as your healthy cinema snacks make some salsa to save some calories.

Dips such as garlic, humous and more can be made using much healthier dip recipes.

Fruit kebabs – this can make fruit a little more fun, skewers can be cheaply bought in most supermarkets. They are great low-calorie snacks for the cinema for all the family.

Freeze some fruit – grapes, watermelon, pineapple and raspberries are all lovely frozen, you could even try frozen fruit kebabs.

Eggs in ham – a quick easy savoury snack.

Crudities and dips – there are lots of vegetables you could have with dips such as peppers, baby corn, spring onions, mangetout, sugar snap peas, carrots, cucumber, and more.

Cooked meats or Quorn roasts/low-fat sausages – this kind of thing is more filling than fruit and could make all the difference in stopping you from reaching for other things. Whilst they are not your usual cinema food ideas maybe they would be great for you?

Healthy cinema snacks and cinema food ideas

Mikado sticks chocolatey but not too bad so better than a big bag of buttons for your cinema snacks!

McVities digestive thins – lower calorie than the usual digestive biscuits and a smaller packet too.

Use smaller slices and wholemeal bread to make a sandwich, garlic bread or even toast turned into a pizza.

Use lo-dough to make a pizza. (Check my pizza oven review)

Quavers or low-calorie crisps, ideally from a multipack to ensure you get smaller bags, are certainly better than family bags each! Crisps are great movie snacks, aren’t they!
