Tops tips for eating healthily on a budget
Use frozen vegetables when you can. In many recipes, you really would not notice the difference between using frozen or canned vegetables but it can save a lot of money!
Make use of cheap foods like potatoes, dry pasta and rice. Bulk bags of pasta or rice from shops like Farmfoods can save a lot in the long run. B&M is also a great shop for buying things like cheap cans.
Use cheaper cuts of meat and cook them in the slow cooker which will make them tender and save money.
